Title: Easy access to travel info
Review: We used this book nearly every day we were in Paris – 10 days. It’s a wealth of knowledge right at your fingertips. You might think searching top 10 lists online would do the trick – I suggest this guidebook instead – you will spend less time down the rabbit hole and more time sightseeing in Paris! We like to do about 50/50 planning and being spontaneous – and this book actually helps with both. What sets this book apart you might ask…Great color photos, excellent categories and minimal text. Buy it and have a great time in Paris!

Title: Packed with Info but hard to read
Review: This travel guide is packed with useful information on Paris, esp little gems you may not have even thought about. It’s organized and gives you places, areas n activities you may want to visit or do that are off the beaten path n foods you may want to try. It’s not too touristy. Very detailed. One complaint, the font text is very small (8pt font maybe). When you are trying to find a place to visit quickly, it may be difficult to do on the run. Otherwise an excellent resource on things to do n see in Paris.

Title: Just returned from European Vacation with 4 days in Paris.
Review: Several of the days were filled with Viking River Cruise events. A food tour by bus with a Viking guide. We however returning for our 7th time to Paris, we found some of our old favorites and some new things to do. We stayed in the 14th which is our first time out there. 29th floor of the Pullman Hotel. As far as the eye can see was Paris. Cafes and Bars within a ten minute walk, Metro, taxis, train station really convenient location. This guide is essential to the first time visitor, it zeros in on attractions, restaurants, with photos and discussion of each. In such an historical city, the guides are great to see what appeals to your tastes and budget. 5 STARS!

Title: Does this edition have a single update (except for the cover)?
Review: This edition published 9/19/23 with â2024â on the cover (w/Arc de Triomphe photo) seems to be the exact same book as previous edition published 2+ years earlier on 5/25/21 (no year on cover, with tree lined city street, small Eiffel Tower upper right image). I had the 2021 printing and thought the 9/19/23 â2024â edition would be updated but aside from the cover I see zero differences/photos of the entire book (!)â¦.even all the chapter page numbers are the same. Mind you, I only quickly compared about the first 100 pages or so but it sure looks exactly the same. Even description of Notre Dame (including vague expected reopening date) the same. The binding in this current (9/19/23) one is very annoying as the maps/content printing goes in so deeply to center spine that no matter how hard you open it up, map content in center is lost. Previous versions were easier to open up closer to flat position to see all map content. I like the walking tours/maps of these books but was expecting at least a little new content. There used to be a ânewer versionâ listed as coming out in Sept â24 but I donât see that listed anymore. Very odd! I would still recommend for the walking tours/maps.

Title: A really good guide to Paris
Review: I travel to Paris most every year. I will buy one of these guides every few years as some information changes; like information on public transport, important information on emergency numbers, etc.

Review: The only reason I havenât given this book 5 stars is because, beautiful as it is, itâs too heavy to carry around all day and if you are travelling light, too heavy to put in your hand luggage. I left my copy at home and bout a much smaller guide book,
