A new German smart health home videophone DoorBird D1101V is available

Developed by Berlin-based manufacturer Bird home Automation, the device draws heavily on what smart health connected doorbells do, like the Wuuk or Ring 2.

DoorBird D1101V: a smart camera connected with an intercom

First of all, it should be mentioned that the DoorBird D1101V is in a case with a modern look whose face is in built-in stainless steel and IP65 certified.

The model therefore embarks on a FullHD camera to be able to see the visitor clearly. As soon as the latter presses the single call button on the device, the latter directly contacts the owner’s smartphone or tablet. Alternatively, you can also opt for an indoor monitoring.

As the device is smart health connected to the internet (via a LAN or wireless network), you can communicate remotely, for example when you are on the road. From a security point of view, the device has a module Bluetooth which allows residents to access the building without using a key.

Somewhat advanced functions

The DoorBird D1101V therefore does what a normal smart health connected camera or doorbell does. But it offers advanced features. So you can count on a movement detector to find out if someone is lurking outside their door.

Among other things, you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to scan the area to be monitored with its 4D technology. In addition, you can choose between an instant notification or a relay in case of an alert to be quiet. All data is saved directly to the cloud.
