Ingredients

300 g chicken breast steamed

150 g soy germ

1/2
red bell pepper

1/2
green pepper

2
shallots, minced

2 cm of fresh grated ginger

2 c. tablespoons of
cooking oil

salt
and pepper

To
serve:

2 c. tablespoons soy sauce

1 c. tablespoon of sesame
oil

 

 

Preparation Chinese food chicken salad

– In a skillet, fried in oil, minced shallots and grated ginger.

 

Add
to skillet half julienned peppers, bean sprouts and white minced chicken, salt
and pepper and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.

– Remove from heat, water preparation with soy sauce and sesame oil.

– Serve on a warm plate and serve immediately.

 

Remarks

To
give a sweet little note to this salad, add two carrots cut into julienne.

1-1/4 c Raisins

1/2 c Chopped pitted dates

1/2 c Chopped figs

1 c Boiling water

1
ts Grated lemon rind

1
tb Lemon juice; (approx)

1/4 c Chopped pecans

Preparation

 

In
bowl, combine raisins, dates and figs. Pour in water; let stand for 1 hour or
until softened. In food processor or blender, and in batches, chop coarsely. In
small heavy saucepan, combine chopped fruit mixture with lemon rind and juice.
Simmer over low heat, uncovered, stirring often, until charoset tastes rich and
fruity, about 15 minutes. Add more lemon juice if desired. Let cool; sprinkle
pecans on top. Makes 2 cups. Formatted by Carole Walberg NOTES : Here is a

sweetness of the dried fruit.

Mix cottage
cheese and egg. Add flour and salt and knead until the mixture is no longer
sticky. Roll out dough into balls slightly smaller than golf balls. Roll them
in flour to coat. Drop in boiling water and cook for 12 minutes. Drain and
serve.
