The Alpina Gstaad has a charming range of 56 rooms and suites, all with private terrace and an exotic view. The decor is inspired by local craftsmanship in an alpine style. Woodwork, fireplaces made from local rocks, traditional furniture combine with contemporary modernity, always with refinement.

Among the different accommodations at The Alpina Gstaad, the Panorama Suite is unique, there is only one available. With 400m², it is the largest suite in the hotel. It is designed as a duplex, with an exclusive spa area. Fitness room, massage room and Jacuzzi occupy the top floor of the suite.

As an alternative to a nice cozy apartment, we appreciate the Grand Luxe Suites. They are arranged to feel like home. The large bedroom is adjacent to a dressing room, and the living room offers a dining area and a lounge area with a fireplace. A separate office is also part of this 100 m² suite.

The only Six Senses Spa in Switzerland

The Alpina Gstaad is home to the unique Six Senses spa from Switzerland. The prestigious holistic universe of Six Senses is essentially influenced by the ancient medicinal traditions of the Orient, supported by modern techniques as well.

Indoor and outdoor pools (including one specially for children), hot tubs, yoga studio, gym, and a juice bar complement the well-being treatments at the spa. With its holistic detox programs and anti-aging treatments, the spa menu is designed for all types of needs. Note that the spa plays the local card by collaborating with Dr. Burgener, a specialist in treatments that act against skin aging.

Within it, we find 12 treatment rooms including a room dedicated to color therapy, one to Ayurvedic science, one for colon hydration and a double cabin. Others offer a space focused on oriental treatments with hammam and therapies based on the benefits of mineral salts.

A flotation chamber also takes place at the Spa Six Senses. The principle is to float in a solution of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) without any outside distraction. The five senses are thus completely at rest.

Enjoy the spa or the outdoors

All the wellness programs offered are created from a holistic philosophy, with the central idea of revitalize and fill with positive energy. This applies both mentally and physically. MEGU takes its guests from the Swiss mountains to Japan by offering the widest variety of sake in Switzerland. He too has a Michelin star.and was noted as the best Asian restaurant in Switzerland by GaultMillau. The interior of the restaurant is also worth a visit, with decoration by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, inspired by the temples of Kyoto.
